[edit] Jovito Salonga
is a significant congressman in the Philippines. Let me fill it up. Maybe create it if it gets deleted and I don't have the time yet to fill it up. I didn't create the empty page but I assume someone wants it.--Jondel 08:34, 13 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Does He consistently topped three Senatorial elections just mean that he won them? Or does it mean that he won with the highest margins of any senatorial race that election? Perhaps that phrase could be made clearer. --William Pietri 05:58, 28 May 2005 (UTC)
Senatorial election in the Philippines is nationwide (unlike in the U.S. where each state votes for one). The 12 candidates who garnered the most votes are proclaimed winners. ylanylang
Someone should include the explosive revelation of Jovy Salonga regarding the true mastermind of the Plaza Miranda Bombing, who is none other than Jose Maria Sison. - Johnyang2
I was not surprised to see that both Salonga and Diokno got the same rating in the bar examination (95.3%). Being 2 of the most admired Filipino nationalists, its understandable that they also excelled in their knowledge of the law. Modelwatcher 16:23, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
It is sad that nobody ever updated this article. I have to add the latest news pre-election reports on Salonga, to make this article NEUTRAL and unbiased.

[edit] Shocking Resignation
I was literally saddened by Salonga's resignation. It is shocking to the conscience of a great fraternity. It is a sad day for UP and the institution of law, justice and truth which Salonga knew. What happens now to Mendez. If Salonga fought against Gregory S. Ong why should he not help in seeking the truth?
