[edit] Jovan Cvijic is a Montenegrin Serb

Jovan Cvijić is a Montenegrin Serb by family origins because if you look at http://www.montenegro.org.au/C.html (same reference on article) and if you scroll down to Cvijić (since only Montenegrin last names appear on that page), it will say "ogranak Spasojevića (Cvijo) odselio iz sela Vrela (kod Pirlitora) područje Durmitora, pa prešli u Šljivolje (Kalinovik), odatle pređu u Loznicu (Mačva)" translation: branch of the Spasojević family (Cvijo (founder of the Cvijić family hence the last name Cvijić, or son of Cvijo)) from the village of Vrela (by Piriltora) region of Durmitor (a mountain in Montenegro), then they went to Šljivolje (Kalinovik), from there, they went to Loznica (Mačva), and since Jovan's last name is Cvijić, he is a descendant of Cvijo, the founder of the family, making him a Montenegrin. Serb because he was born in Belgrade, Serbia. I have shown proof and this should be an amazement to many here. Crna tec Gora 02:48, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

So what?Do you want to add Zivojin Misic to the list of the Montenegrins or Montenegrin Serbs just because some ancestor of his came from Durmitor to Serbia? In that case we should add this category to many articles of Serbs because many of them have ancestors from Montenegro

Well, yeah; we should. CrnaGora is right. :) --PaxEquilibrium 19:34, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cvijic's works on the net

I have been looking for Balkan peninsula and Southern-Slavic countries on the internet for a long time and was always amazed that I can't find it, being such a monumental piece of work. This made my thirst only greater, as it must contain some facts that current nationalists of all colours don't like. If anyone finds it or publish it on the www, I would be grateful for the link!
