Jovanka Steele

Jovanka Steele is an American actress, writer and comedian.

She was born in Los Angeles, California.

Steele has performed as a stand-up comedian in the United States, England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg.

Steele has appeared in a broad range of TV-shows, usually as a comedic performer. In 2005, she was one of the recurring panel members in That's So Last Week, broadcast on five in the United Kingdom. In that same year she performed as the featured stand-up comedian in "Raymann is Laat", one of the highest-rated comedy shows on Dutch television.

In 2006 she was one of the featured performers in "Comedy Casino", the first show completely dedicated to stand-up comedy on Belgian Television.

Steele's radio appearances included regular features on The Fred MacAuley Show (BBC Scotland), Five Live (BBC) and The Alex Bennett Show (Live 105, San Francisco, USA)
