The Journal of Quaternary science is a journal published on behalf of the Quaternary Research Association. The Journal publishes research papers on any field of Quaternary research, with the aim of providing wider access and knowledge of the earth's history over the last 2.6 million years. The journal publishes predominantly research articles with two thematic issues published annually, although discussions and letters are occasionally published along with invited reviews. The Journal has an impact factor of 1.500 (2005).
