Joub Jannine

Joub Jannine is located in the Beqaa Valley valley in Lebanon. It was the site of an Israeli airstrike on a convoy of 3,000 people from Marjayoun, after dark on 11 August 2006.

Joub Jannine is the center of the Western Beqaa District, hosting the Serail, which is a main governmental building serving the area. Joub Jannine is surrounded by a number of villages, to the South there is the very beautiful village of Lala, Ghazze to the North, Kamed el Lawz to the East, and Kefraya famous for its wine vine yards, to the West.
