[edit] Per nom
From Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Socratic Club (University of Michigan)(Section):
- What does per nom mean anyway? (your comment)
In an AfD, "per nom" means "per nomination" or "I agree with the reasons given for the nomination". It's just a somewhat more educated-sounding way of saying "Me too!"
Hope it helps. :)

[edit] Please discontinue recreating the Socratic Club page
Despite the irony of a debate club ignoring the results of a debate, I'm requesting that you please discontinue recreating the Socrates Club page, as you are aware of the AfD debate at [1] determining deletion. Continuing to ignore this, as well as the deletion of tags on the page and recreating the page under different names, can be interpreted as vandalism per WP:V. As the President of a debate club, I'm sure you understand the importance of recognizing a healthy debate, and I hope that you will respect the other editor's decision. Thank you. --Ataricodfish 14:05, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed. Please do discontinue recreation, and please do also spend some time reading up on project norms. With over a million articles so far it's hard to argue against the norms as being "imaginary social constructs that are designed to stifle cultural advancement"... rather I'd argue that they are working quite well, thousands of editors abide by them. If you continue to work against the system we've built here, if you continue to call people "wikinistas" and generally be incivil, you'll find it rather a hard slog. Why not work within the system instead? There are plenty of philosophy articles that could use your help. Once you've shown value to the project, no one will mind if you have this club's info on your userpage area pending the club becoming verifiably notable. For reference notice that those shortcuts are single letters.... that's how important they are. Hope that helps, and happy editing! ++Lar: t/c 15:36, 10 May 2006 (UTC) (PS, feel free to comment here if you feel the need, I've placed this page on my watch list and will see your comments)
