[edit] To do at OEIS

Neil Sloane mentioned to me that he'd like some more decimal expansions sequences in the OEIS.

Position where one first sees A_k(n) in the decimal expansion of C
Try various sequence numbers k (powers of 2 A000079 is another obvious candidate) and the obvious 10 or so constants C (Pi, e, log 2, etc)

I thought perhaps you might be interested. Del arte 15:51, 6 Jan 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Eureka

Ta for the limerick. I see you're editor of Eureka online. You may be interested to know that I've included a reference to Eureka 51 at Mathematical Tripos, re Graham Nelson's critique of Part III. JackyR | Talk 22:49, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The Code Sourcery article

Could you expand the Code Sourcery article a bit? Due to your connection, you probably shouldn't comment on how good or bad a company it is, but objective things such as:

  • how old it is
  • who are the top management
  • where is it based
  • how many staff does it have
  • how many developers does it have
  • Is all the software it develops released as free software, and if not, what approximate portion is
  • does it have a free software policy
  • what are it's main products or services, current and past

[edit] Edit

[1] Don't remove the link just the meet the MoS without adding a link to the same page somewhere else. The MoS isn't that important compared to maintaining the link structure. — Omegatron 14:05, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Mathematics CotW

Hey Joseph, I am writing you to let you know that the Mathematics Collaboration of the week(soon to "of the month") is getting an overhaul of sorts and I would encourage you to participate in whatever way you can, i.e. nominate an article, contribute to an article, or sign up to be part of the project. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks--Cronholm144 18:04, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

P.S. Welcome to Wikiproject Mathematics!

[edit] Math Template

hey Joseph, I am rating several articles that you have rated recently. Thanks for your effort, and I hope you keep it up. One minor thing though, could you add this {{maths rating|small=|class=|importance=|field=|historical=}} when you add the template, it makes it easier for future editors. Thanks!--Cronholm144 08:33, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] A new Oxbridge user box

Joseph Myers...I am currently in the process of writing a user box for all of the colleges that are part of Oxbridge. This template is meant to replace your current college template. Please take a look at the work in progress and comment on it. My main concerns are college abbreviations and color choice. I am using scarf colors for the colleges. Thank you. - LA @ 17:26, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
