Hi. I am an average Wikipedian and - contrary to popular belief - human! Yes, I have a sense of humour too.

I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses and am hugely humbled by the words of Jesus as found at John, chapter 15. In particular, I am moved when he says, in verse 13; "No one has love greater than this, that someone should surrender his soul in behalf of his friends." The fact that Jesus died for us. It's easy to say and dismiss that fact, but if you actually take the time to read and really meditate on Jesus' life and teachings and the events leading up to his execution, the statement "he died for me" becomes a lot more personal. I am forever thankful to Jehovah, God and Creator of the universe for what he has done and is doing to reconcile his human children to him through his perfect standards, and viewing Jesus as a reflection of God shows us what a perfect Father he really is for us to have. (John 3:16,17; Matthew 18:12-14)

May you always come to have the comfort of Jehovah's arm around your shoulder. (Psalm 9:10; Isaiah 48:17,18 and many more)

I was not born or raised as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. I converted from atheism many years ago, after debating several issues of commonly mistaken "facts" (evolution, blood, religion and war, and why God allowed so much wickedness in this world) with Witnesses who knocked on my door.

If you have any questions about my religion, you can find better, comprehensible answers at the following official websites, rather than asking me here.

Thank you for visiting my user page. :o)

He Wishes for the Cloths of Heaven

Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams

~ William Butler Yeats (1865-1939)
