"Kadison dated the actress Sarah Jessica Parker"

Is this true? Because I can't find any to back the statement up! MadGirl

I took the time to translate the German article. Please check it, I'm not a native speaker. NicolasFS (German Wikipedia)

[edit] Confusing: Personal life

The second sentence of the first paragraph in the "Personal life" section has several pronouns with unclear antecedents. "...that this is indeed true, and it became a sticking point in their relationship." Which of the statements in the first sentence is "indeed true", and whose relationship (of three people involved) was affected?

Barbara]], California) is an American singer-songwriter, pianist, and writer.

[edit] Untrue?: Driver's License

Was it possible to get a driver's license in California at age 15 in 1978? I don't think so! Or did '15' refer to the date of his mother's death? And why do I take the time to add this? 86.132.88.164 09:17, 2 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sweeping Removal of Personal Life

I have taken the following section out of the main article, as it is very difficult to parse properly from a grammar point of view, and is completely unsourced. It might be more useful if revised, so I have left it here for a starting point of some interested person would like to fix it.

from old version: "The song Jessie may refer to a relationship with Sarah Jessica Parker, although in an interview, Kadison stated that it was about a girl that he never could get things right with. Matthew Broderick has stated in an interview in the British tabloid "The Sun" that this is indeed true, and it became a sticking point in their relationship.

This is taken from his official web site that Joshua himself runs. It can be found at http://www.joshuakadison.com/letter01.html

From a letter he posted in April 2005 "I had a long relationship come to an end about two years ago (quick update--- this letter's been up less than a week and I've already gotten four emails wondering if it was with a guy or girl... never thought it mattered and I still don't... but for those who think it does matter, he is a guy and a really great guy, too... I thought ya'll knew...anyway...). And I was so brokenhearted." ...."

That quote says right there that Joshua Kadison did not, contrary to the current version of the page (dated 23 May 2008), “come out as a homosexual”. A person who is completely indifferent to the sex of their partner is definitely not gay (or straight), but far more likely to be bisexual or pansexual. Still, far be it from me to prescribe his sexuality; only he can choose which label he wishes to own, if any. Absent any direct indication from him, I'd say the comment about his sexuality should be taken out of the main article. —cky (talk) 13:36, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
