[edit] Unsourced Rumor

To whoever keeps adding the rumor about the Olson/Wibberly encounter:

I vaguely recall reading something about the incident at ArtfulWriter, but I can't find it on the site. It needs to be better sourced before it is included here. The recent revision which claimed to link to proof didn't; it just linked to a discussion in which a bunch of guys parodied Olson's writing style, and Olson parodied the rumor about his encounter with the WIbberlies.

Personally, even if it's sourced, I don't think it's especially notable. True, Olson, Mazin, and the Wibberlies are notable people in their field. But that doesn't mean everything any of them have said or done to each other is worth mentioning. Maybe it would be worthwhile as part of a carefully sourced, neutral POV section on Olson's relationships with his fellow screenwriters, or his views on art vs. commerce, or maybe as part of a (carefully sourced, neutral POV) article on ArtfulWriter.com. But if it's just "This guy says this other guy got in a spat with these other guys," it doesn't really belong in an encyclopedia.

Remember, this is a biography of a living person. Whether you think Olson is a genius or a jerk (or both), please respect Wikipedia's rules regarding controversial material about living persons.
