[edit] Impressive
I am VERY impressed. 2007 ALDS stats up within minutes. (1) VERY impressive; (2) get a life? Ah, but seriously, thanks for being right on top of it. After all, *I'm* the one in here looking to see how many consecutive scoreless post-season innings Beckett has. -DKM- 02:51, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Nickname?
I have never heard anyone refer to him as "Big Game Beckett." It's obvious where it comes from, but I haven't heard it used enough to be included. If someone else has, sure, but if not, I'd say delete it. Tithonfury 03:58, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
That was my first reaction as well. I had never heard of it outside this one article and removed it. Cottcd 03:47, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] A nickname Promblem
I added that Beckett's nickname was Country but it was erased. If anyone can find sources or evidence that this is true please tell me so I can add it again without any trouble. I got his nickname from a game called MLB Power Pros just look at the baseball cards and choose Josh Beckett and his nickname will show at the top. This is just so people can check. Thanks.--RyRy5 (talk) 01:45, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- It is listed on his Baseball Almanac player card but that's the only reference to it that I can find. Camanda (talk) 23:15, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for checking, one peice of evidence is OK. I will add his nickname(s) again.--RyRy5 (talk) 21:30, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
Finally nobody deleted his nicknames. Thanks for your proof.--RyRy5 (talk) 01:36, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
- You should still put the citation in the article or I guarantee someone will delete it. Camanda (talk) 10:30, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Inappropriate Language
Wouldn't the quote by Beckett about the Indian's alleged attempt to distract him fall under inappropriate language by Wikipedia's standards? If that word isn't censored, I guess you can write anything.--Tmudder (talk) 21:50, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
