Thanks for your opinion. It's constructive, but I don't particularly agree with it, nor the rating. Unfortunately there isn't a lot available about Miss Antoine even after years of personal research. Therefore writing an article with a paucity of background information is a considerable challenge and requires skill. The purpose of my submitting this piece to begin with was to stimulate interest in Josephine Antoine and perhaps entice more information about this artist from her many students. I should also point out in writing this article that I found some Wikipedia deficiencies in the categories available as subject headings for this article. One significant category, unavailable until I created it, was "Voice teacher." From personal experience I can't imagine any competent article about an opera/radio/concert star such as Miss Antoine written without some mention of the voice teachers the artist studied with. Hence I would downgrade any article about such a star if no mention of voice teacher(s) was made. "Voice pedagogy" doesn't work here nor "Human voice." A voice teacher knows much about the human voice and is also quite knowledgeable about voice pedagogy. I felt obliged to use "Human voice" and "Singing" since they were already available, then I decided not to use "Voice pedagogy" but instead create a category that fit this kind of artist well. -- Jrpowell 03:55, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
