I cannot find any information to verify if Josephine Alica Saenz is still living or not. WP's John Wayne page refers to her as "the late"... However, this is not verified by noting a source. I found an AP article[1] on the death of Michael Wayne from 2003, which stated that he was survived by his mother. Any help to verify her death (or that she is still very much alive) as fact would be greatly appreciated. --MichaelAWilson 13:07, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
I found a copy of the Fall/Winter edition of the John Wayne Cancer Institute newsletter, in which Patrick Wayne said that his mother had recently passed away from cancer. This places her death sometime in 2003, after the article about Michael's death, earlier in the year. The exact date of her death (and her birth) are not yet known, but if they are out there, I'll eventually find them. --MichaelAWilson 21:35, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
