[edit] Question

Does anyone know where Wright is buried? - Astrochemist (talk) 01:48, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

According to Wikipedia [1] he was re-buried in St Alkmund's Church, which in turn was demolished in 1968 to make way for a major new road, under which Wright presumably now lies. Not very nice! I remember the church from my Derby School days. --Memestream (talk) 19:12, 24 November 2007 (UTC)

Hmm, a simple web search gives [[2] and says his grave was moved to Notttingham Road Cemetery in 1997/2002. Bob aka Linuxlad (talk) 21:44, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

Thanks, I've updated my text with the link you gave. --Memestream 15:23, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the above clarification. I've not been to Derby in about 20 years, but the one time I was there I made a point to see both the cathedral and Wright's paintings. I'll check my photos to see if I have anything that is relevant to this article. -- Astrochemist 01:28, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
