This article needs expansion overall, but especially in the introduction. There have been a lot of American generals throughout history, and this stubby introduction sentence tells us absolutely nothing else about Gen Ralston. When did he live? Which conflicts did he take part in? Why is he significant or notable? All of that, at the absolute minimum, should be in the introduction. LordAmeth 17:28, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
