Talk:Joseph Pellegrino University Professor

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Each university professorship at Harvard has its own name, and one of them is the Pellegrino chair. They were endowed at different times even though the article says all of them were named (identically) at the same time. The article implies that all of the university professorships have the Pellegrino name, which is not correct. It could also be read to say that the Pellegrino University Professor outranks the others, but I don't believe that is true.

Agreed. I did a quick rewrite to remove the factual ambiguities. Even better, however, this whole article should be rewritten about University Professors in general and not this one particular seat. Rlove 22:37, 18 January 2006 (UTC)

So what are the other 17? Where are the Wikipedia articles about them? Is there one Wikipedia article on the 18 University Professorships at Harvard? Michael Hardy 23:10, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
