[edit] Wrong Name
The title of this page is Joseph Carter Abbott but the lead paragraph says John Carter Abbott. Which is correct? DanMS 00:44, 10 July 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Post-War info added
Added biographical information his postwar life and death, interment (and reinterment.) The dates of his US Senate service come from "Congressional Quarterly's Guide to U.S. Elections". Added a link to the official US Congressional biography. Nhprman 08:19, 1 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] No longer a stub?
I want to note that with my recent additions, I believe this article is no longer a "stub," but a full article. Can this designation be removed? I'm unsure of the protocol to ask for this to occur. Nhprman 15:53, 2 January 2006 (UTC)

- I agree - and pulled the stub tag. You can too (see Wikipedia:Stub#Essential_information for details). MarcoTolo 04:24, 6 April 2006 (UTC)

- I'm usually quite bold, but I also believe in consensus, and frankly, there are no solid rules for when a stub is no longer a stub. Your opinion, plus mine, adds up to consensus in my book. So thanks. Nhprman 14:53, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
