I wonder about the link to Burgermiester - is this an english spelling of the german word "Bürgermeister"? Or a typo which should have been "burgermeister" - just omitting the umlaut? andy 09:07, 17 Oct 2003 (UTC)
Burgermiester is clearly wrong. Burgermeister is acceptable as an English spelling.
But I am uneasy about putting a plural -s to the word. (In German, Bürgermeister is unchanged in the plural.)
Sebastjan
Bürgermeister is in English texts often rendered as burgomaster. I am changing accordingly.

Fixed the wilde Sau and zahme Sau spellings (where did samte Sau come from?) -CyRo
His place of birth is "Burgkirchen an der Alz". The Alz ist a little River in Bavaria. "an der" is in German a therm to difference Towns or Villages with the same name.
[edit] incerception?
What word is that supposed to be? interception is my guess, but it doesn't fit the sentence--69.118.235.97 13:45, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Flag format question
Since he also served in the WWI German Army shouldn't that be on the flags BEFORE Nazi Germany? Would fix myself, but have NO IDEA how. V. Joe 04:40, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
