The AAA was a fascistic death squad organization responsible for the deaths of thousands, maybe tens of thousands, during Argentina's "dirty war" against "subversion" in the 1970s. A perusal of NYT articles from the late 70s that I read at the time will give you a picture of him. He is a major criminal, but given that victors write history, little is known of him and these crimes.

  • Was Lopecito a freemason? (Seems incompatible with the Basilio cult) and...
  • When did he become Peron's personal assistant? From the article it'd seem that quite soon after 1955, whilst the actual date is IMHO closer to 1968 elpincha 21:25, 27 December 2005 (UTC)
