Josip Ivanovic is a Croatian sculptor born in Sarajevo in 1961, where he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts (Department of Sculpture) in 1988. He is member of HDLU (Croatian Association of Fine Arts) since 1988, and ZUH (Croatian Artist's League) since 1993. Since 1993 he has extensively exhibited on One man exhibitions all over Croatia and abroad. Ivanovic is constantly present in numerous selective group showings round the world.
As a contemporary artist he is most famous for his unique technique of creating sculptures out of glass and resin. His works are in private collections in Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, UK, France, Austria, USA, Montenegro, Vatican City, Italy, Ireland, and Germany. He lives and works in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
