Jacinta "Josie" Russell was a fictional character on the Australian soap opera Home and Away, portrayed by Laurie Foell from 2004 to 2005.
Josie caused quite a stir when she arrived in 2004 because of her resemblance to her deceased cousin Angie Russell - they were in fact played by the same actress.
Josie settled into the area and began dating Jesse McGregor, who had previously dated Angie and was a friend to her daughter Tasha Andrews.
Following her break-up with Jesse, Josie left for America.
In Late 2006, Josie sent a letter to Tasha inviting her, her husband Robbie and their daughter to join her over there.
