Joshua Mahaka (born 17 May 1981) is a former Zimbabwe under 17 and 20 national team player. He was highly regarded in football circles from an early age, beginning with him being courted by big teams such as dynamos and DT Africa from the age of 12.

He studied at Mutare Boys High where he rose to become one of the most exciting teenage prospects in Zimbabwe since Peter Ndlovu, helping them lift the national schools trophy in 1997. In 1998 he was taken under the wing of Wislow Grabowski who sent him to Poland for a trial stint with Legea Krakow but before completing his stint there he was taken to PSV Eindhoven (junior academy). His contract was not renewed after his three month stay and this heralded the slow decline in his football as other interests took hold. Rumour had it that his contract was not renewed after reports of him having sustained injuries due to a shooting incident in Zimbabwe. He was known to have a fiery temper and reports of off the field violent streaks did not help his cause.
