Joshua Joseph "The Punk" Thomson is an American mixed martial arts fighter training with American Kickboxing Academy. He has fought in Japan's PRIDE Fighting Championships and America's UFC, as well as Strikeforce and the World Fighting Alliance. He is currently Strikeforce's Lightweight U.S. champion.

Thomson holds a professional MMA record of 12 wins and 2 losses. He defeated Nam Pham via unanimous decision at Strike Force's Triple Threat event on December 8, 2006. In his last fight, he defeated Nick Gonzalez with a rear naked choke at Strikeforce Shamrock vs. Baroni.
