Josh Ross

Joshua Ross (born February 9, 1981 in Sydney) is an Australian sprinter mainly competing in the 100 metres event. He reached the semi finals at the 2004 Summer Olympics and 2005 World Championships.
Joshua was the first Australian to win the Stawell Gift without a handicap in 2005, and only the third person to win the event more than once (2003, 2005). Additionally, he holds the fastest 100m time by an Australian on native soil, his personal best, 10.08 seconds on the 10th March 2007.
An Indigenous Australian, Ross was awarded the 2004 Deadlys Award for Male Sportsperson of the Year.
He is currently sponsored by Nike and Microsoft.
