Josh Phillips is a Canadian artist known for his work at Avalon, a webcomic that attained some popularity before succumbing to entropy in 2004. His new venture, Two Eighty, was planned as weekly webcomic that began publication on 2004-05-07. Two Eighty shortly followed its predecessor into indefinite hiatus, with only four weekly comics being posted.

On 2004-08-24, Phillips officially announced that he was abandoning webcomics for the foreseeable future. However, both comics had a transient resurgence circa January 2006, bringing a new level of the sporadically updating webcomic.

Prior to Avalon, his work included Cartoon University which appeared sporadically in Carleton University's student newspaper, The Charlatan.
