Josh Pahigian

Josh Pahigian is an American author who specializes in books and articles about baseball. He is particularly renown in the field of sports travel, writing books on this topic, as well as articles that frequently appear on the espn.com Sports Travel page under the Travel Ten heading.

Most popular among Pahigian's six published books are: The Ultimate Baseball Road-trip, Spring Training Handbook, and The Ultimate Minor League Baseball Road Trip.

A new book by Pahigian, entitled 101 Baseball Places to See Before You Strike Out is expected to be released by the Lyons Press in April 2008.

Pahigian has also written short stories that have been published in American literary journals such as Passages North, the Hawaii Review, and Ararat, and in translation in several Armenian language periodicals and anthologies. He is known to Armenian readers for the juxtaposition that his work is said to present between modern American values and enduring Armenian cultural tradition.

Pahigian is a college writing instructor at The University of New England, Maine, a small but growing university in Biddeford, Maine, USA.
