Josh Max

Josh Max is an American writer and musician. He is currently the New York Daily News auto correspondent, editing and writing "Your Drive", a five-article ongoing car and motorcycle review column appearing every Tuesday in the paper.

Max's articles have also appeared in the New York Times, Newsweek, Conde Nast Portfolio,New York Magazine, Forbes.com, Salon.com, and other local and national American magazines.

Max was the senior writer for the New York Daily News' "Big Town, Big Heart" column during its run in 2006. He also contributed stories to a published collection of NY Daily News stories titled "Big Town Biography".

He is currently writing a memoir titled Confessions of an Ex-Seeker, an account of his decades-long, world-wide quest for enlightenment.

Max is also a guitarist, pianist, bassist, singer and songwriter.

Max is the grand-nephew of the songwriter Al Hoffman, and is currently recording a CD of the songwriter's material.
