Josh Johnson is a footballer, born on 16 April 1981. His Football career started off in San Juan Jabloteh in Trinidad & Tobago he played there from 2000 until July 2006. Josh started trials in Wrexham AFC in July making a great impression, Denis Smith was very interested in Josh even though money was a problem it did not stop him signing Johnson to the club on August 8 2006. Since Johnson's arrival he has played two games one against Grimsby Town FC and the other against Peterborough United F.C.. He was released by Wrexham in May 2008 following the club's relegation to the Football Conference.[1]

  • Josh has represented Trinidad & Tobago at the FIFA U-20 world qualifying tournament in 2001 and the 2004 Olymplic qualifying series in Mexico.
  • Johnson was also adjudged Most Improved Player for his club Jabloteh during the 2005 season and shared the title for scoring the most goals (15) with Kerry Noray.
  • Josh has also had trials for Luton Town FC where another Trinidad & Tobago former resident is playing, his name is Carlos Edwards
  • Cornell Glen played for San Juan Jabloteh.
  • Often called "Eddie" by the fans due to his striking similarity to the actor Eddie Murphy
