Josh Evans (born January 16, 1971) is an American filmmaker, screenwriter, and actor. Evans is the son of actress Ali MacGraw and producer Robert Evans.[1]

Josh Evans was born in New York City, New York, and raised in Los Angeles, California, where he attended the University of California at Los Angeles and later became a producer, director, screenwriter, and actor.[2] He's worked with Oliver Stone, Tom Cruise, Meg Ryan, Denzel Washington, Val Kilmer, and Drew Barrymore. He wrote, produced, and directed his latest independent film, Che Guevara, in 2005.[3]

Besides his parents, Ali MacGraw and Robert Evans, he is the nephew of producer Charles Evans,[4] the stepbrother of Chad McQueen, and stepson of Hollywood legend Steve McQueen.[5]

He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, actress Charis Michelsen.[6]
