Joshua Lee Berresford (born July 11, 1978 in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania) is an American actor who is probably best known for his role as Cory on the here! original LGBT-themed gothic horror series Dante's Cove.
Berresford studied at the Robert Morris University, Point Park College and the Pittsburgh Filmmakers for production, editing, singing and film. After acting in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for over two years he moved to New York in October of 2003. After the move to New York he continued his acting studies at Caymichael Patten Studios and Sande Shurlin Studios.
In 2004, he made his New York debut with the LMNO Theatre performing in [www.lmnotheatre.org Forbidden Fruit]. Broadway.com said of his performance, "Josh Berresford…offers a beautiful, heartfelt and funny performance. Of all the male actors, he most smoothly negotiates between the piece's sense of pathos and seriousness alongside the show's outrageous hilarity.”
After Forbidden Fruit he was cast in several New York Off-Off Broadway plays including Glass Highways, Test Tube World, Birdy’s Bachelorette Party (Off Broadway), and his latest casting as Baron Bigbutt in Pirate Petes Parrot.
He has had leading and supporting roles in several films including, Missing Jane,[1] Pieces of Johnny, Happy Hour, Last Days,[2] Last Call, The Informer, Dragzania[3] and The Other Way Around.
