Joseph von Quarin (November 19, 1733 - March 19, 1814 was an Austrian physician who was a native of Vienna. In 1754 he became a university professor at Vienna, where he was appointed rector six times during his career.

From 1784 to 1791, Quarin was general director of the Allgemeinen Krankenhauses. He also initiated the establishment of the Findelhaus (foundling hospital) in Vienna. His best known student was homeopath Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843).
