Joseph V. Egan

Joseph V. Egan (born February 27, 1938) is an American Democratic Party politician, who represents the 17th Legislative District in the New Jersey General Assembly, where he has served since 2002.
He serves in the Assembly on the Labor Committee (as Chair) and on the Telecommunications Committee. He has also served on the New Brunswick City Council since 1982.[1]
Egan is Business Manager for International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (I.B.E.W.) Local Union 456.[1]

Each of the forty districts in the New Jersey Legislature has one representative in the New Jersey Senate and two members in the New Jersey General Assembly. The other representatives from the 17th District for the 2008-2009 Legislative Session are:
