Joseph Patrick Hattenberger, (mostly known as: Patrick Hattenberger) is a well known photographer that made his commercial success in Vancouver. He was born and raised in France.
His hobby became his saviour as he was appointed photographer for the French forces in Germany in 1973. After leaving the army, he traveled the world, crossing the Sahara desert twice, and altogether traveled over 50 countries.
He settled in Vancouver in 1981, in 1983 he established a partnership with stylist Cindy Lou Anderson, who became his studio manager/producer. In 1995 he and Cindy had a child, Sahara, named after his travels there.
In 2008, the three settled in Vancouver island and presently are shooting for the fun of it.
