Joseph P. Kamp

Joseph P. Kamp (1900 - 1993) was an American political activist who was jailed in 1950 for being in contempt of Congress stemming from 1944 campaign activities.[1] He was acquitted of a second contempt charge in relationship with the lobbying activities of the Constitutional Educational League.[2]

Kamp was a contributor to The Awakener before the Second World War. He also served as a policy advisor to the Liberty Lobby.

Kamp is an uncle of Jon Voight.
