Joseph Robert McCabe (born August 27, 1938), normally known as Joe McCabe, was an American baseball player, who played in the Major League.

Joe McCabe was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He attended Purdue University.[1]

[edit] Baseball career

McCabe was signed by the "first" Washington Senators (later named the Minnesota Twins) as an amateur free-agent in 1960.[2] He made his Major League debut on April 18, 1964 for the Minnesota Twins.[1] He was traded by the Minnesota Twins to the later Washington Senators (later named the Texas Rangers) for Ken Retzer on October 15, 1964.[2] His last game was on May 22, 1965.[1]
