Joseph Mawle

Joseph Mawle (born 21 March 1974 in Oxford, England) is a British actor.
Mawle graduated from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 2002. Gained his first TV lead in BBC/Blast Films Soundproof in 2006. He has appeared in a number of British television programmes most notably Dunkirk, Soundproof and Persuasion, he was the main character in the Irish Hurling advertisement for Guinness in 2002. Recently, Mawle starred opposite Luke Treadaway in Channel 4's gritty drama Clapham Junction. In 2008 he starred as Jesus in a mini television series, The Passion, and as a guest star in Foyle's War.
