Joseph Kibiru Gikubu was a co-founder of Starehe Boys Centre and School, and the current senior deputy director of the school. He is also the only surviving founder. The school was founded in November, 1959 with the help of the late Geoffrey Griffin, the founder, and the late Geofrey Gatama Geturo, also a co-founder.
