Joseph Halpin Fargis IV (born April 2, 1948) is an American show jumping champion. In 1984 Fargis participated in the 1984 Summer Olympics held in Los Angeles where he won a gold medal in individual jumping with the mare Touch of Class.[1] He participated on the American winning team in the Team Jumping in 1984, and again in 1988 in Seoul where he finished second while riding the Irish bred Mill Pearl.
