Joseph Enakarhire (born November 6, 1982 in Warri, Nigeria) is a football defender from Nigeria. His first major tournament for the Nigeria national football team was the 2004 African Nations Cup. His nickname is "Big Joe".
In 2004 he moved from Standard Liège to Sporting Portugal and helped them reach the UEFA Cup final. After playing only one season in Lisbon, Enakarhire was sold to Russian big-spending club Dynamo Moscow. In August 2006 he moved to French Ligue 1 side Girondins de Bordeaux. On July 2007 he moved to Greek Superleague side Panathinaikos. On January 2008 he left Panathinaikos and returned to Dynamo Moscow.[citation needed]
