Joseph Chhmar Salas

Joseph Chhmar Salas (21 October 1937 – September 1977) was the first native Cambodian Roman Catholic bishop.

Salas became a Roman Catholic priest in 1964 was was consecrated as a bishop on 14 April 1975. He was the Roman Catholic Church's Vicar Apostolic of Phnom Penh until his death. He, along with all other Cambodian clergy of the Roman Catholic Church, were killed in the Cambodian Genocide committed by the Khmer Rouge.
