Joseph Charles Arthur

Joseph Charles Arthur (January 11, 1850 - April 30, 1942) was an American botanist known for his investigations into rusts (a variety of fungus).

The standard author abbreviation Arthur is used to indicate this individual as the author when citing a botanical name.[1]
