Joseph Brouchoud

Born in Switzerland on Feb. 12, 1841, Joseph Brouchoud moved to California in 1886. Initially, he lived in Oakland and by the turn of the century had moved to San Francisco. In 1899 he completed a stained glass window of the Madonna for the Catholic Church in Mill Valley. He died in Burlingame, CA on July 16, 1916. His rare works include landscapes, portraits, and figure studies.
