Joseph William Beacham is a former head coach of the Cornell University (1896) and Army (1911) college football program. He graduated from Cornell University in 1897.
A brigadier general in the U.S. Army, Beacham was Professor of Military Science and Tactics at Cornell University from 1927 to 1932. He is buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
