Joseph Armani is a Maltese[citation needed] DJ born in 1980.

At the age of 5 he aspired as a young singer where he even won a junior festival. He later also tried modelling and ballet but this wasn't for him. During his teens, he raised his pocket money by compiling music compilations and recording them on cassette tapes and selling them to teachers and fellow schoolmates in his secondary school, and this kept him up to date with what's happening in the music scene. At the age of 14, he took his first DJing course. A year later he landed his first residency in Malta's legendary bar "Miracles". This made him popular since he was the youngest disc-jockey on the islands at that time. Later on he landed more residencies, his popularity further increasing.

In 2000 his ambition and thirst for adventure led him to travel to Germany where he could expand his career horizons, travelling to the most modern and exciting European city of Berlin and hopefully bringing his dream of placing Malta on the musical map just one little step further.

Naturally, with his move to Berlin, his style of music changed as well, from the trance of the late 90s, to more contemporary sound of Wet & Hard. In fact, Joseph has become one of the pioneers of Wet & Hard, the exciting new 21st century sound presented to a new generation of clubbers, which is slowly taking over the dance floors all over Europe.

This sound has also enabled Joseph to gain rapid recognition and success as a DJ and artist throughout Europe and began to play in different places all over the continent. He has performed extensively at many parties through out the former Eastern Block, ranging from Poland, Czech Republic, Yugoslavia, Slovakia, as well as a number of German cities. Joe has also played alongside many top names such as Sven Väth, Dave Clarke, Timo Maas, Eric Morillo, Tim Deluxe, Faithless, Kosheen, Dj Rush, and Tiësto.

In Spring 2001 he teamed up with Corvin Dalek to produce his first single on Flesh called "Ride Me (Ħu Pjaċir)". This impressive debut single quickly became a cult favourite of the Maltese clubbing scene. It was even nominated and won best single of the year at the Maltese Music Awards 2001.

In 2002 Joe has had his first solo release with the single "Very Nice". This single came out on Flesh and was very popular in Warsaw and obviously in Malta as it features the vocals of Ali Bubaker, a Maltese version of Borat Sagdiyev played by DJ Gianni, a Maltese radio disc-jockey, comedian and television presenter.

In 2003, Joe met a young and talented German producer, Jan Kessler. They started off collaboration together which as result came "Infatuation", Joe's latest release on Casino records/Aroma music, Berlin which is already a favorite with Top International DJ's such as David Guetta and John Digweed, who recently have been supporting it.

Another achievement came this year when Ministry of Sound, Germany asked Joseph to remix the legendary Tyree Cooper's latest single "On Tha Floor".

Late in 2004 "Infatuation" was signed to French House giants: David Guetta and Bob Sinclair's brand new label "F*** Me I'm Famous!" label as their first release. At the moment Joseph is resident DJ in 3 of Berlin's top clubs, Sage Club, Casino & WMF where he plays once a month in each club. He is doing a large number of gigs around Europe, mainly Germany and Malta.
