Joseph Amato

Joseph Amato (died March 28, 1927) was a Milwaukee organized crime figure. In 1924, he succeeded Peter Guardalabene as head of the Milwaukee crime family. Amato ruled over the city's underworld until his death from natural causes on March 28, 1927. He was succeeded as family boss by Joseph Vallone.
