Joseba Llorente Etxarri aka Llorente (born 24 November 1979 in Hondarribia, Basque Country) is a Spanish football player who currently plays for Real Valladolid of the Spanish La Liga. His usual position is centre forward.

Llorente grew through the ranks of Real Sociedad, debuting for the first team on October 3, 1999, at Real Zaragoza (0-2 loss). He would however, only amass 23 appearances in four seasons and left, in 2003, for another Basque side, SD Eibar, in the Segunda División, where he already had served a loan stint in 2000-01.

On 20 January 2008, in a league match against Espanyol, Llorente broke the Spanish league record for the fastest goal ever scored (7.82 seconds),[1] beating Dario Silva's previous record of 8 seconds. He broke through that season, aged almost 29, scoring 15 league goals and helping the team retain top-flight status.

On the 26th May 2008, Llorente agreed a 4-year deal with Villareal CF, leaving Valladolid on a Bosman transfer.
