The Most Reverend Jose S. Palma, D.D. (Born March 19, 1950) is the current Archbishop of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Palo in the province of Leyte, on the island of Visayas, Philippines.

He was ordained Priest on 21 Aug 1976 at the age of 26 years old. On 28 Nov 1997 at the age of 49, he was elevated to a bishop, and appointed the Titular Bishop of Vazari-Didda. He became auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Cebu. Bishop Palma was appointed as bishop in Calbayog and after 7 years, he was transferred to the Archdiocese of Palo and was appointed Archbishop of that said diocese.
