Jose Orlandis

Jose Orlandis (born in 1918 in Palma de Mallorca) is a historian who has written more than 200 works, among which are 20 books. He is known for his Short History of the Catholic Church.
He became a University Professor of Law in 1942, and was ordained priest of Opus Dei in 1946.
Most of his works center on Visigothic Spain and Western Medieval Church.
