Josani is a small village in Bihor County, Transylvania, Romania.

The village of Josani is part of the commune of Căbeşti.

The nearest town is Beiuş, around 12 kilometers to the south.

Josani is situated at the margin of the Beiuş Depression, near the Apuseni Mountains.

The river Valea Roşia flows through the village.

The village has very beautiful landscapes, especially during the summer.

The village has a population of about 350 people.

All of the population is Romanian.

Agriculture is the most important economic sector because of the hilly and mostly low terrain.

In Josani, people are harvesting on the fields: wheat, maize, potato and vegetables.

People also raise animals like cows, pigs and chickens for meat, milk and cheese.

People who work in other economic areas, like industry and services, are employed in the town of Beiuş.

Children can learn in the kindergarten and the primary school within the village.

Secondary school is accessible in Căbeşti, the commune center (About 1 kilometer away from Josani).

The nearest highschool is found in Beiuş (About 12 kilometers away from Josani).

The closest university is the University of Oradea found in Oradea the capital city of Bihor county. (About 75 kilometers away from Josani via Beiuş).
