José Maria O'Neill (April 14, 1788 –), was the head of the Clanaboy O'Neill dynasty, whose family has been in Portugal since the 18th century. He was officially recognized by the offices of arms throughout Europe as titular Prince and Count of Clanaboy, but he refused to use this title, using instead the style O'Neill of Clannaboy. He was the first son of the previous head Carlos O'Neill and wife Ana João Torlade.
He was the General Consul of Denmark in Lisbon and a Commander of the Royal Orders of the Knights of Christ and a Commander of the Royal Order of Our Lady of Concepcion of Vila Viçosa, of Portugal.
